Dr. Richard Herdener, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist in Palm Beach, FL, with more than 41 years of clinical experience providing comprehensive dermatologic care. Before joining Carroll Dermatology, Dr. Herdener practiced dermatology in Spokane, Washington, for more than 35 years. His career also includes 10 years of service in the United States Navy Medical Corps, where he achieved the rank of Commander and completed advanced dermatology training at Naval Hospital San Diego.
Dr. Herdener is an experienced educator and mentor who has trained and guided hundreds of medical students, residents, and physicians throughout his career. He is known for a patient-centered approach grounded in strong ethical principles, professionalism, compassion, and service. Known for his compassionate and patient-focused approach, Dr. Herdener takes time to understand each patient's concerns while considering their overall health and wellness.
