Dr. Marianne T. Carroll is a Board Certified Osteopathic Physician specializing in Dermatology and Dermatologic surgery as well as Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
Serving Florida since 2010, Dr. Carroll practices Adult and Pediatric Dermatology offering the most common treatments for skin diseases, from acne to mole removal. Her surgical services include treatment of skin cancer with Mohs micrographic surgery, excision, electrodesiccation curettage, photodynamic therapy, and topical immune modulators.
Dr. Carroll received her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI in 2002. Prior to completing her Dermatology residency in 2009, she completed her Internal Medicine residency in Flint, MI at Genesys Regional Medical Center in 2005. While pursuing her dreams to become a Dermatologist, she completed one year of research practicing at the local PHO as a primary care physician/urgent care physician.
Dr. Carroll received a Master of Biological Sciences degree and Master of Science of Nursing at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. She is a published author with articles ranging from cardiovascular disease to the use of topical immunomodulators for the treatment of FDA-approved non-melanoma skin cancers. She began her career as a clinical nurse technician at Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI.
After completing her BSN, she pioneered in her field to become the first new graduate nurse accepted in the Neurotrauma/Surgical Intensive Care Unit Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, MI and earned her MSN. She furthered her career at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) with a focus on patient education and program development in Cardiology. She then continued on at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, MI as an ANP with a focus on nurse education and staff development.
Currently a proud member of the following organizations, AAD, AOCD, ASDS, FSDS, AOA and ASMS, Dr. Carroll is dedicated to health and wellness personally as well as for others and is committed to helping the underprivileged. She participates in multiple missions internationally through DOCARE and various non-profit organizations, traveling to Europe, South and Central America, providing care for the underserved/underprivileged who are without access to health care.
Dr Carroll loves traveling and golf with her husband. She loves being athletic, whether running or cycling, playing tennis or weight training, it is a integral part of her daily activity. Dr Carroll and her husband are true sports junkies, whether it is PGA golf, NCAA Basketball, or NFL , they can't get enough. She loves her family and her faith. Doting on her neices and nephews and welcoming her great neices and nephew are one of her greatest joys.
